A while ago, our team faced the challenge that turned our company into a media lover.  Our recruiting team was immersed in our database, looking within the resumes rejected by our screening systems.  While trying to overcome the problem, we discovered that only  25% of the resumes send, are actually evaluated by the recruiters.

This is just because the other 75% are held hostage by the automated scanning systems.  Forget about thinking the 75% of the candidates don’t qualify.  The awful truth is that our precious screeners reject resumes because file and document formats failed to be recognized by these softwares, because people don’t include the relevant keywords we are using to filter them, or just because the systems understand they does not fit. Several attempts to correct the problems are being added, but for us, the recruiters, it means hours of extra work.
